I started Witty Invent 3D CAD Services, LLC in 2012 with a mission to help people bring their ideas to life.  I have be using CAD for over 20 years.  I have my BSME from Univ. North Dakota. I would love to use my design experience to create your ideas into a 3D model that can be used to make a reality of your dream and vision.

PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT:

As I create the models for your project, I will provide you a 3D pdf or epart for you to view.  I may also send you a typical 2D drawing in pdf format. When the design is complete, I will send you 2D drawings that show the overall size dimensions of the assembly / component part(s). I may add additional dimensions of certain important design features. These final drawings are called the 2D Approval drawings. You will need to review them, confirm the dimensions and features are meeting your requirements., and then sign your name to document your approval. The models will then be exported to a .STL file format that is used for all 3D printing machines.  The parts are designed for that intended purpose only. Additional iterations of the design may be needed before models are ready for production.

PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT:

In the prototype stage, the models do not account for features and certain material thickness. The models needed for manufacturing will include required uniform wall thickness, draft angles, certain radii, cut-outs for tooling requirements (if injected molded part).  Exact material thickness for metal and other materials.  The files will need to be exported to a .step(Step) or .x_b(parasolid) file format that is readable by CNC machines usded for manufacturing.  In addition, the 2D drawings will need to have all of the dimension of every feature of the part.  It will have all of the required section views and scaled up detail views. If there is an assembly involved ( multiple parts) it would have a BOM (Bill of Materials or part list) that includes the components and the description.

I can provide project managment services upon request and will be quoted separately.  It will define all of the deliverables and time required.

Design/modeling/Project mgmt fees: Project quoted only:  Shipping/Returning samples:  $10+actual cost  

Virtual Visits  $30/hr, prorated 15min increments  Travel Visits: Virtual visit + $0.70/mile
